Best-in-Slot Picks

For solo gathering: Master Pickaxe (tier 4) — 2x yield on every node.

For co-op gathering: 2x Alloy Pickaxe (tier 3) — easier to craft, 70% of the Master yield.

For solo combat: Master Blade (tier 4) — 2x crit chance trivializes the late-game wildlife.

For co-op combat: 1 Master Blade + 2 Alloy Spears — spear reach covers Master Blade's melee gap.

Upgrade Path: Cheapest to Strongest

  1. Wood Pickaxe → Iron Pickaxe (cost: 12 iron).
  2. Iron Pickaxe → Alloy Pickaxe (cost: 40 copper + 20 rare alloy).
  3. Alloy Pickaxe → Master Pickaxe (cost: 100 rare alloy + 4 cloud steel — end-game only).
